NO GIRLIE MEN

Today Keith Olbermann, the misfit of MSNBC, on his show “Countdown,” assaulted former Vice-President Dick Cheney in a fashion that can only be described as certifiably crazed, calling him “as insane as any terrorist.”

Lest we forget, Olbermann used to be on a local CBS television affiliate in Los Angeles where he “read” sports scores. And yet he has managed to convince the Leftwing Loons of NBC that he is Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli reincarnate.

Let us be serious here, Olbermann is no more than a bespectacled buffoon at best.

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter made it official today. He’s now what he’s really always been…a bona fide Democrat, a member of the jackass party.

Senator Specter is a political whore. Unfortunately, he’s not alone.

That said, President Obama and his party of big spenders and progressives now own whatever happens next. They are in complete control and can never say that the Republicans are the party of NO.

I know that this comes as no shock to those who frequent this blog, but President Obama did indeed apologize to the Europeans at the London Economic Summit 2009. He was most contrite when he expressed regret for America’s arrogance, dismissiveness, and even derisiveness.

Does that make any sense? After all, America is the birthplace of “democracy.” And never forget, Europe is the birthplace of “socialism,” “communism,” “Nazism,” “Fascism,” and “mass genocide.”

So I ask you, who should be apologizing to whom?

It’s a sure bet that the Obamaprompter wished he were back at the Brandenburg Gate in 2008 when he was feted as a rock star. His appearance today in London at the G20 economic summit has angered European leaders and has met with protests that are effectively crippling London’s financial district. From the French President to the German President, no one seems to want to hear what the Obamaprompter has to say. They fear, and rightly so, that his financial scheme is a dead-end road. In fact, no nation has ever spent itself into prosperity.

Even Lord Keynes (of Keynesian economics) had his doubts about the effectiveness of uncontrolled government involvement in the free-market economy. So when you have a president who has no regard for other people’s money sitting in the Oval Office, we as a nation are on the fast track to socialism. Even leftist Europeans have said flatly that they want no part of the financial Obamanation.

The ensuing days at the G20 and his tour of five European nations will prove to be very trying for the Obamaprompter, who will need to deal with countless acts of remonstration against his presence and plans.

Lest we forget, the Obamaprompter sold those who elected him on the fact that he could sweet talk Iran, North Korea, and every other nation that seeks to cause us great harm. Moreover, the very Europeans who praised him early presidency now reject him. Even the Obamacans must admit that he’s no more than a circus barker on the midway.

Let us all hope that the nation can keep afloat until he’s turned out of office in 2012, just like the peanut farmer was in 1980. Ronald Reagan, wherefore art thou in our moment of apocalyptic crisis?

So did President Obama really pay his taxes? It’s certainly a fair question, given the travails of noted tax cheats such as Geithner, Daschle, Kellifur, Rangel, Richardson, and a whole host of others that will be percolating to the surface in the ensuing days and weeks to come. And all Democrats; all of whom were/are/will be nominees of the president.

Moreover, what about “change we can believe in?” It has now been relegated to the dustbin of political bumper sticker phrases. And what about his supposed searing intellect and Solomon-like judgment? Obama supporters should feel duped by now. Even his first-day 85% approval rating (before he even made any decisions people thought he was worthy of an approval rating) has plummeted to some 50% and appears to in freefall, along with the economy he was elected to fix.

But all of this does answer one of the more vexing questions: Why do Democrats/Liberals/Socialists in Washington, D.C., have no qualms about raising taxes? Because they don’t pay them.

Virtually every journalist, broadcaster, political pundit, and historian referred to today’s happening in Washington, D.C. as the inauguration of the 44^th president. Well, it wasn’t and he isn’t. Just count them and you’ll find that President Barack Hussein Obama is the nation’s 43^rd president. So why the egregious error?

These very same so-called experts mistakenly count Grover Cleveland as two presidents because he served two non-consecutive terms. That said, he was still just one man, thus just one president.

So this begs the question: If the self-anointed experts can’t get the number of presidents right, what matters of great import do they get wrong?

BTW: Over the past two years I’ve referred to the now 43^rd President of the United States as Barack Hussein Obama and have taken much flack for it. But today the man himself, when taking his oath of office, vindicated me. Thank-you…Mr. President.

Hardly, but if you listen to the President-elect himself or any of the fawning media, it sure seems that way. He’s making every effort to fashion himself as a modern day paladin of the people in the image of Lincoln.

Here’s what’s so fascinating. Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN. Obama is a SOCIALIST. Lincoln prosecuted the Civil War to preserve the Union. Obama simply wants to get out of the war to preserve the rights of those with their hands out by virtue of higher welfare payments. Lincoln seized the reigns of power like no other president by instituting martial law and suspending the writ of habeas corpus because he believed the U.S. Constitution was not a suicide pact. Obama wants to use his power to take from the rich and give to the poor; to release terrorists from Gitmo; to continue class warfare; to have card-check in union voting; and to lard his cabinet with like-minded Socialists, etc.

Obama is even eating the same victuals that Lincoln ate at his inauguration and taking a train to D.C. But here’s the real brazenness of this man, the Messiah to his people. While the liberal press chastised Bush when his inauguration cost $40 million, no one is saying a word as Obama’s is soaring past $160 million!

Well, what’s done is done, so enjoy the immaculate inauguration come January 20^th and pray that four years comes and goes as painlessly and quickly as possible, for the thought of eight years of another Carter is just too much to contemplate.

Here we go again, Rod Blagojevich, governor of Mr. Obama’s home state, was taken into custody by the FBI on several corruption charges, that included the selling of the vacated Senate seat, in Chicago on Tuesday. The Federal prosecutor characterized it as a “staggering level of corruption involving politics in Illnois’s top office.” Blagojevich is the very same man for whom Mr. Obama acted as his political advisor when he ran for the governorship. Even Mr. Obama’s lieutenant-in-charge Mr. Axelrod was in the cadre of the governor’s aides and advisors, as was convicted felon Mr. Rezko.

When the story of the governor’s arrest was made public Mr. Obama denied that he’d talked to the governor about the Senate replacement, while only days earlier Mr. Axelrod had said that there was indeed talks with the governor about the issue. Someone’s lying!  And don’t forget Mr. Emmanuel in all of this.

To cavort with these terrorists, criminals, racists, and scofflaws calls Mr. Obama’s judgment into serious doubt.  No, it demonstrates that he possesses no judgment worthy of sitting in the Oval Office.

Moreover, if Mr. Obama were to become president, he couldn’t qualify for his own Secret Service detail, nor would he ever be given a security clearance as a member of the military.

Last night the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences feted themselves with the 60^th Primetime Emmy Awards (lowest rating ever).  In an industry that awards itself for what it believes to be great creativity in writing, acting, directing, etc., they always miss the mark when it comes to espousing their political leanings.  Whenever they attempt to camouflage their liberal political views for the sake of viewer ship, creativity is nowhere to be found.

From the first segment of the always too long of a show until the last, the full-frontal assault on President Bush and his administration was as blatant as could be.  What is absolutely hysterical is that these people think that their political proselytizing is couched in cleverly crafted sentences.  It’s not!  The casual observer can easily see what’s going on.

I could give you a litany of examples of this, but I believe that one of Hollywood’s greatest talents said it best.  David Mamet recently published an essay in the Village Voice (Manhattan’s Pravda) entitled “David Mamet: Why I Am No Longer a Brain-Dead Liberal.”
